Evaluations
A comprehensive evaluation (30-90 mins) is very important for those with a suspected communication disorder. Testing will compare the client’s skills to others of the same age (via norm and/or criterion-referenced tests). Specific areas of assessment are based on screening results and/or expressed concerns.
If an evaluation has been completed within the last 6 months or your child has an up to date Individualized Education Plan, information from these documents can be used to develop a Plan of Care with iSpeak Therapy Services. In such cases, the need for additional standardized assessments may not be necessary.

Group sessions will focus on skills such as social engagement, turn taking, listening, social flexibility, conversational skills and body language through group games, art, activities and discussions. We help foster positive connections with others in a fun and active environment.
The groups provide the opportunity to learn and practice the skills while receiving individualized coaching and feedback from trained therapists. Our social skill groups meet once a week.
Typical group size is anywhere from 3-6. Specific groups are formed by pairing children/adolescents of similar ages with similar therapeutic goals.
